"Taylor Polvar believes love happens like it does in the movies. Although with his girlfriend leaving him for a pseudo-Australian soap star and his well-meaning best friend setting him up on every disastrous date the world of personal ads has to offer, it's playing more like a Fellini film than anything else. Still Taylor perseveres, holding fast to the notion that love does exist. It's really all he can do. After all, why would John Hughes lie? When Taylor meets Swain Holly, an incandescent, headstrong girl who believes in Bigfoot more than she does love, their first meeting passes about as smoothly as a kidney stone.
