For a woman trapped in the corporate world, a serial killer is not her biggest problem.

The “killer in the back seat” urban legend gets a comedic twist in this animated short. Lydia wants to make it in a white man's world, Phil wants to take Lydia down, and Max just wants to choke someone to death.

"Choke" was created when I was commissioned to write a play that had to take place inside a car. I started thinking about the "serial killer in the back seat" urban legend, and once I came up with the character of Max the semi-sympathetic serial killer, "Choke" was born. After it was was produced as a play, I thought the twisted content would work well as an animated short and adapted it.
