'CON LA CRUZ A CUESTAS'es un largometraje documental en video digital con vocación de película cinematográfica. Es, por tanto, mi ópera prima documental. En esta obra, destaca su excelente fotografía artística así como el ritmo interno muy medido del montaje que consigue que esta obra audiovisual, con apenas 10 minutos de narración de voz en español, mantenga el interés narrativo durante 68 minutos ininterrumpidos. El largometraje documental es, por tanto, muy visual y estético, está apoyado sobre música tradicional grabada en directo y contiene algunas notas dramáticas y de ficción argumental que lo enriquecen expresivamente.
