Playland Amusement Park was literally built on thrills. From 1930 until 1960, children, ages 8 to 80, enjoyed a high old time at this great amusement park of 65 acres on Bitter Lake, seven short miles from Seattle.
“Finding Playland” transports you back to that free and easy time with archival video and photos joined with first hand accounts of Seattle’s million dollar Playland.
Prepare to leave all dignity behind as you follow the breath-taking plunges of the Big Dipper, shudder in anticipation of the Shoot the Chutes, and give as good as you get on the Dodge-Em cars.
