Hunting Season is the brainchild of director Nathan Wrann. With a focus on character lacking in most modern independent horror, Nathan started out to write the horror movie he’d like to see — literate and coherent in plot, well developed characters and brutal and unrelenting in tension. With Hunting Season, he has hit the mark with a vengeance. New York Magazine calls 'Hunting Season' a "Shoestring budget F.U. to gimmicky major studio horror."

Director's Statement:

"Hunting Season" was directly, metaphorically inspired by the events of September 11th 2001 and the ensuing response from George W. Bush's administration. Even if we survive, our own actions may kill us inside.
