A fun-d-mental film where energy is everything.

Synopsis

A specialist in filming moving textures from real-world situations, award-winning filmmaker Brian G. Zahm journeyed to Las Vegas to capture pure energy. Dream-like images merged with an avant-garde electronic soundtrack create a film that is singular, unforgettable, and visceral in every way.

Director's Statement

“JUICE” IS A FUN-D-MENTAL FILM WHERE ENERGY IS EVERYTHING...

FUN-D-MENTAL FILMMAKING is a genre of my creation. The “D” stands for “Documentary,” the “MENTAL” stands for “experiMENTAL," and the “FUN” stands for the thrilling experience I create for the audience—for “JUICE” is all of these things. The word “fundamental” is a semantic variant on the expression “pure cinema.” And because of the emotive power of this form of filmmaking, in addition to the rapid evolution of new picture and sound technology, I believe “pure cinema” to be the future of film that will very much rival and ultimately dethrone narrative’s lofty perch.
