Director's Statement:

"LOFT is a story about a woman caught between two men who represent drastically different worlds. LOFT was filmed in Brooklyn, New York over 3 days last August. The story, created with writer Margot Arakelian, was based on the experiences the writer and director shared- New York stories of transient men that took up residence outside of their front doors and refused to be ignored . The themes in LOFT explore the same issues present in director Elizabeth Wood's upcoming feature film WHITE GIRL- a story about a white college girl that moves to a Latino neighborhood in Brooklyn, falls in love with a drug dealer from her block, and takes over his drug ring when he gets sent to jail." -- Elizabeth Wood 2011
