Three sick men are about to show the world what terror really means.
SynopsisMINDS OF TERROR is a horror/thriller that begins with a college reporter named Karla Terry and her brother, Bobby, are traveling with fellow student Andy Carlson to an abandoned mental health facility called Stone Ridge. When Andy was young he saw ghosts of an earlier and deadly patient revolt, and Karla wants to write a story about his experience. To their surprise they find a former counselor, Jeffery Vandoren, still living at Stone Ridge. Trapped for the night, the student investigators discover the terrifying secrets and dangerous evil of the Stone Ridge Mental Health Facility. They are told and read about two former patients of the facility, and their stories of terror. Near the end of the film the reporters hear the story of when Jeffery Vandoren, has amnesia and is stranded at a farmhouse while looking for help after a car accident. He begins to see strange things, and he doesn’t know if he’s really seeing ghosts or if he’s hallucinating due to his head injury. He meets Brad Noland, who is also trapped in the house, and they begin to suspect one another of their true intentions. The answers are revealed when a mysterious man, played by Hollywood actor and Martin Sheen’s brother, Joe Estevez, suddenly appears and confronts them.
Director's StatementMark wanted to have a definitive version of his vision of the final, feature-length film since he would have no control over the final editing of MINDS OF TERROR.

(Chuckles) (My favorite scene in the movie is ) the boiler room scene. It’s brilliant. There were a lot of hard shoots, a lot of tough days, a lot of irritating moments. Now that I’ve seen the final film – (there are) really some good acting in there by everyone. Nicci was extremely convincing crying over Bobby, although it was really ME (under the sheet doubling for Patrick) that she was crying over, which is a mark of a really good actress – that she can do that with a stand-in. In the scenes where the car breaks down, I really liked the way Nicci and Pat demonstrate that brother/sister relationship. I thought the boiler room scene – Matt’s screams of the repeated cutting (with the knife) were quite good. Every one of the screams sound great – especially where there is a slight whimper at the end of the scream.
