Art Film, paintings set to music and poetry.

Ever since I was a teenager I made tape cassettes, and then cd's, for friends and family. This continued into my early thirties: these musical presents a hodge podge of soundtrack clips, opera, classical, singer songwriters, motown, and international variety. Quite often I would be working on a painting or poem while creating these tapes, each giving some sort of thematic sustenance and influence to one another. Now I am in my early 40's, with friends and family lost or far flung, but I've created a series of short films called "Murals In Motion", to capture some of the images and feelings of that time: a spiritual bond. Tinted with more than a hint of nostalgia and shared as a scrapbook moment, I hope the film "strikes chords" of correspondence in the viewer as well.
