In one single shot, Obras is a poetic and graphic journey through time and space, exploring Barcelona's wild irreversible destruction and reconstruction. In a virtual 3D space, Obras offers a plastic interpretation of urban mutations.

Director's Statement

Born in 1974, Hendrick Dusollier was graduated from Paris National School for fine Arts (ENSAD). Obras was Hendrick Dusollier's first film. It was selected and awarded in numerous festivals and nominated for Best Short Film at the 2006 french academy awards (Les César). Hendrick is now working on a new short film about Shanghai, Babel.
