Over the course of one long, hot summer, filmmaker Jyllian Gunther showed up on the doorsteps of her most significant Ex’s to pose the question: What went wrong? From New York to San Francisco to Paris, PULLOUT pulls out all the stops—what happens along the way includes a rekindled romance, tattooing, rejection, a stakeout, tarantulas, sex, accusations, indifference, and a nostalgia that climaxes with the realization that the past is subjective and memory is selective.

"Documentary filmmaking at it's best. It made me feel I was there with her every moment she was with the wrong man and trying to figure out why." — ALBERT MAYSLES

"An exceptionally insightful work." - Andrew Johnston, TIME OUT

"...A wonderfully deep and rich film about the motivations of people and their actions." – Doug Brunell, FILM THREAT

"PULLOUT pleasantly surprised me due to Gunther's charm and some unexpected revelations on family dynamics. Plus, seeing her series of somewhat crazy ex-boyfriends makes mine look a little saner. " —Wendy Mitchell, INDIEWIRE
