Street Angels are always at work..Do they ever take a break?

Synopsis

The Street Angels are always at work. Raphael, one such street angel, arrives to collect his next assignment only to be given a message that he can take a holiday for the first time in eons if he can catch the train on time.

Director's Statement

Writing the story then working in the Director role was a great opportunity to ensure my vision manifested into life on the screen which was a truly magical experience. Hopefully I have been able to capture that magical essence on film as Raphael takes us on a swift journey thwarted with human obstacles in his race against time to reach his train so he can finally take a break.
As the clock ticks, tempo quickens and adversity arises in Raphael’s final moment at the train station. Being where he needs to be he finds himself left faced with a tough decision to make. In that poi ant last scene, in Raphael’s surprise execution of his last line, we see that Raphael has indeed gained worldly wisdom out of conflict and adversity over many years of roaming the earth and displays the wonderful gift of kindness.

Making Raphael was a long stretch but exciting.I was so very fortunate to have people involved with the Raphael project who supported me and who believed in my project. To have had the opportunity to work with a symposium of enthusiastic and wonderful people of all ages who, were loyal, reliable and passionately worked in their acting roles in perfect synergy with the small but dynamic Urtext Production film crew was amazing. The team combined created a positive energy onset. One very euphoric, catalytic experience.
