After finding out she's unexpectedly pregnant, Olivia must face how her life is going to change.

Synopsis

Once Olivia finds out she is pregnant she struggles to maintain her equilibrium and face her new reality.

Director's Statement

SATURN RISING is based on the astrological concept of Saturn Return. It states that between the ages of 27-29 people begin to make the transition from Act I: Childhood to Act II: Adulthood. Before you make this transition there is a major event, in Olivia's case it's her pregnancy.

This second phase of your life is literally decided by the choices you make. No longer is a path of school, job etc. laid out for you. After experiencing most of what life has to offer, you are now free to choose your destiny so your choices become extremely important in coloring your reality.

Olivia, 27, is beginning her Saturn Return and a major theme of the film is how we respond to such intense situations and what it takes for us to move thru them and move forward in our lives.
