A Guy named Guy, and a girl named Kate, go off camping on their first date with disasterous consequences.

Guy is stuck in a romantic dry spell and Kate can’t keep a man past breakfast. So, when they meet, it seems like their troubles are over. But things are never that simple as Kate’s best friend and Guy’s oversexed housemates offer enough dating advice to guarantee failure. And, Kate’s therapist, the overbearing Dr. Peters, convinces Kate that her first date with Guy should involve the thing she absolutely hates the most—camping!
All the rules of courtship are thrown out the window as they brave the harsh realities of nature.

This was a fun project that I conceived with Kevin Burke over a very boring afternoon at Sesame Street when working on a home video with a 'celebrity' who was a pain in everyone's butt. I decided that I needed something to stimulate me quickly and so the seed of the idea as conceived in about 45 minutes. The script was written re-written and then refined over a period of about six weeks. Two scenes from the original script entitled " The Path To Hell" was shot over a weekend in April and we quickly decided that we didn't like the age range we had conceived it for. A re-write and re-conception of the story allowed us to settle it where it landed. The film was shot over 6 days in the backyard of a house in Putnam County NY and it was a blast!
