Transformational tail of office mediocrity

Synopsis

Small l change was written based upon the life of writer, editor, director, cinematographer, Chris Penney. The story delves into the everyday mediocrity of sitting in an office and conforming to office politics and office culture where one is forced to give up their self identity to fit into this bureaucratic world.
The main character, Dave, played by Jerry Duba struggles day to day in this environment feeling trapped and paralyzed until he receives a copy of a magical book titled ‘Mastering the Blues.” When Dave reads this book and old blues player from the past manifests to help guide Dave to self discovery. This allows Dave to get the courage to try something different with his life. The irony of this is by following the advice of this blues figure, it becomes a win-win, giving the blues player a second chance to live his dream and unite with a love from his past.
