Synopsis

Director's Statement

I perceive myself as a free-spirited individual, but I was born to and raised by a father whose army career spanned 30 years, and this discrepancy has taken its toll on my growth as my own person. My work often centers around flawed characters that are lost in their inability to make the right choices for themselves. Issues of authority and father - son relationship has also been a seminal part of my journey. Spare juxtaposes all of these elements, placed in the sordid world of gangsters and pushed to the extreme.
