The story is of a pleasant, young pregnant unmarried girl, dumped by her boyfriend. Her support system includes her friends and her unborn child....

The film revolves around an unwed mother. Spurned by her lover, she takes an extreme step and decides to commit suicide. However, it dawns on her about the child she has been carrying. Why kill the innocent unborn for no reason? She decides to move to a city, find work, give birth to the child and starts a new life. The film takes a humorous turn when the mother and the child in the womb start talking to each other; even sing a duet. The child wants to know many things, including about the father. The story also revolves around three men who come in her life during these nine months.

The film is close to my heart hence I chose to make my debut with it. The story encourages to move forward despite the tough challenges that life throws our way. Things don't look as bleak after you smile.
The characters of the film are based on many people I have encountered in my life, thus making the characters easy to identify with.
The idea of a child speaking from the womb was a very emotional thought on which I built my story. Anu's child speaking to her was the best way to communicate the inner strength of a girl, even an ordinary girl at that, and the sub-conscience grit and strength portrayed by Anu once she take the responsibility of bringing her baby into the world.
I enjoyed making this film and the fun of seeing my thoughts and ideas come alive on celluloid is an amazing feeling.
