From Jamey Giddens of PopConfidential.com: In Tequila Sunrise, John portrays Anthony, a disenchanted truck driver who married too young and now finds himself a father of two and a husband, when he really doesn't know who he is. When Anthony meets Valencia (Tiffany Black), a jilted sistah looking for a good time at a bar in Albuquerque, he temporarily forgets the life—and the wife, Abigail (Jillian Rea)—waiting for him back at home. I was impressed by the soulful, earnest peformance John offers up in Tequila Sunrise. As you will see when you watch the clip below, you can literally feel Anthony's palpable, tragic, lethargy for the life he finds himself unable to escape. Black provides a burst of in-your-face energy as the wild Valencia, and Rea shows a mxiture of volatile emotions as a young, very desperate housewife with a sick child.
