The Comedy Garage
50 minutes | 17 or older | 2011 |
United States of America
A group of edgy young comedians has turned a dope house party into a live monthly stand-up comedy show performed on the makeshift stage in their garage.
Synopsis"The Comedy Garage" is picking up buzz, attracting star writers/performers, and launching Matthew Sullivan, Paul Danke, Cornell Reid, Sean Green and Casey Feigh into the limelight...which is actually a floodlight painted green.
Director's StatementThis is a day in the life of five extraordinary people. These young friends have traveled from the four corners of America to do stand-up comedy in LA.
I met these guys back in 2007 when two of the comics were working as production assistants on "Tom Green Live", which I was producing at the time. They invited me to their show and I was blown away. It was the funniest stand-up show I had seen thus far in LA, and this was just some passionate kids doing it in their "Garage"!
I have since become great friends with the comedy garage guys and this film will take our memories of this place far into the future...plus its hilarious!
