Just Like Family

Synopsis

A young virgin finds herself isolated in a remote commune of religious "family" members with a sinister agenda to ensure their supernatural survival. With the horror of entrapment, sacrifice and familial dysfunction as Jenny confronts the evil that is her father and his new family.

Director's Statement

It was my goal to make disturbing thriller/horror movie where we really cared about the lead character and the awful things that happen to her. I studied "Don't Look Now", "The Wicker Man", and other cerebral classics of the 1970s and made every effort to have great performance and characterizations that illuminate the dark recesses of the human psyche take the place of cheap, stakeless gore. Hope you enjoy, and that the love story breaks your heart! xo-Lis Fies
