A man, a mirror and a really nasty headache.

Synopsis

Harry Owen (Scott Charles), a heavily fatigued man, wakes at 3 a.m. to a strange anomaly that challenges his perception of reality and his mental health.

Director's Statement

"The Glitch" is about a man who experiences a strange anomaly in his daily insomniac workaholic routine. The story was inspired by frustrations of modern urban living, insomnia, migraine headaches and the classic science fiction television anthologies of the 1960s.

To explain any more would spoil any attempt at walking in the shadows of the great genre writers Joseph Stefano, Richard Matheson, Rod Serling and their contemporaries who tapped the zeitgeist of the technological age with gothic tales of technology and morality gone awry – with a sting in the tale.

"A wonderful little film. It has elements of sci-fi, but I found it really funny.... a modern kind of comment on the zeitgeist of our time." - Larry Jordan, HDFilmTools.

"Fourth-wall-breaking meta-narrative.... A haunting tale...." - Bob Doto, Quiet Earth.
