Careful, we don't want to learn from this...

Synopsis

The Graduates is a hysterical, award-winning comedy about four friends who head to the beach without a care in the world. Through surprising and hilarious events, the guys find themselves learning that there's a little more to life than having a good time. The Graduates has been developing a loyal 18-25 year old following through a dozen sold-out festival and sneak preview screenings, and a limited theatrical run. Audiences love the snappy dialog, quick and easy laughs, and heartfelt, adorable ending... A classic in the making.

The group-of-friends-out-to-get-laid movie has been done more times than can be counted. When another one comes along, it better have a good reason to exist. Ryan Gielen’s The Graduates does this with the story of a group of four friends who go to Ocean City, Maryland to celebrate their high school graduation. A film like this, where the plot is so common as to render it nearly invisible, all depends on the dialogue and characters. This film really delivers. The jokes are rarely laugh-out-loud funny, but the characters are interesting, well drawn, and well played by the entire cast. The Graduates also has some great music. This film is more low key than expected and is a solid teen comedy that’s definitely worth checking out.

- 30 day shoot
- 40 speaking parts
- A drinking game has emerged in Maryland where people drink any time the shirtless kid walks through the background of a scene, and people drink anytime Nickie says "f***"
