Director's StatementI have always been fascinated with magic since I was a child visiting the Old Town magic shop. There was something interesting about the Houdini era of magic and wanted to express that old fashioned, turn of the century style in this piece. I also tried to blend the exaggerated "Tex Avery" style of animation into this film.
