Meredith Binder
Meredith Binder is an actor, screenwriter and producer. She was formally educated in classical dance and electrical engineering. After a successful career in high tech, Meredith left the corporate world to study acting at the Freehold Studio in Seattle. In 2003 Meredith began acting in independent films. That same year she played the Lamaze Instructor in Jamie Hook’s multiple award-winning Naked Proof. In 2005 Meredith played the lead role of Dorothy in Rent’s Due which won the “Gold Kite Award for Best Short Fiction” in the Buenos Aries International Film Festival for Children and Youth. Rent’s Due is in distribution through both Pawky Inc. and Typecast Productions. To date Meredith has performed in over 70 independent films, industrials and commercials. In addition to her film work, Meredith studies with Charles Waxberg, former Stella Adler Conservatory faculty member, teaches on-camera acting classes for children and performs in local theater. She is represented by Topo Swope Talent (www.toposwopetalent.com) in Seattle.
