Paolo Casalis

Born in Bra (Cn) in 1976. He graduated in 2001 in Architecture at the Polytechnic of Turin with a thesis on sustainable architecture and the relationship between building production and eco-sustainability. Writer and Director with Stefano Scarafia the feature film "The Runner" (2010), special mention to Marcarolo Film Festival, the documentary film was in competition at BCNSFF2010 (Barcelona International Festival Ficts.) In 2009 he, together with Stefano Scarafia, made the documentary film "People of Earth Mother", which played in the festival Cinemambiente of Turin and Slow Food on Film in Bologna. Since 2009 he works in collaboration with the association Bracinetica, for which he has directed "Youth Perspectives on Land" as well as the short films "House of the Holy" (2009), "Superheroes" (2010), and "T540 (farmyard a courtyard)" (2010). Short films he shot with the high school students of the area Bra, were screened during the Festival Corto in Bra.
