Steven Flor’s filmmaking career chose him at an early age when he fell in love with the 8mm film camera his father gave him as a toddler. From that point on in Steven’s life, film remained a personal hobby and passion. After earning his business degree, Steven chose to formally pursue his dreams by studying film at the International Academy of Film and Television in 2006. Steven’s award-winning short films now inspire international audiences from a perspective that seeks to remain true to Filipino values through an emphasis of the beautiful and positive in life. Steven’s personal mantra of living life to the fullest imbues his work, and he aims to excite this sentiment in his audiences as seen in his critically acclaimed short film “Breakfast with Lolo.” As a screenwriter, director, and cinematographer, Steven’s integrity to his Filipino heritage has established him as a filmmaker whose works have international relevance and a genuine connection to audiences.
