Chris Charles

A Chicago native who grew up in New England, Chris Charles returned to the windy city to pursue a career in filmmaking. He studied Film & Video at Columbia College Chicago and graduated with honors in 2007. Charles has cast, directed, and produced dozens of commercials and films in Chicago. He directed the Ray Bradbury short story adaptation "The Small Assassin" which has screened at 25 film festivals around the world. He was the associate producer and casting director of the award-winning feature "Chicago Overcoat" starring Frank Vincent ("The Sopranos"). He went on to direct the Illinois Department of Transportation's Click It or Ticket “Cops Everywhere” commercials, which won an Emmy® Award in 2009. Charles most recently worked as the post-production supervisor on the indie feature "Using". He currently serves as a producer at the Chicago-based Beverly Ridge Pictures.
