As a kid, I always wanted to make film or be in one, with a love for cinema and always working out how things were done, however, that was never to be,,,, Get A Proper Job… So I have had the proper jobs, and now I am a film maker. Making ‘Shooter’ was for me a very special project, as I had spent a lot of my time previously making films for other people, and they were doing well, so I decided to put some time into my own short and see what would happen. A year and a bit later and its sporting 20 Official Selections, 4 International Wins, 6 Nominations and 1 Best in Festival. ‘Shooter’ is a short biography of my life, and it is also a testing ground for some of the skills that I had to learn in order to pull off this one-man project. Obviously I would not be able to capture many of the short scenes that I wanted to show in the film, so I would have to learn how to create them myself, using the digital platforms available to the film maker.
