Synopsis

Actor Josh Pais (Sex And The City, Law and Order) makes his directorial debut with the award winning "7th Street": A feature documentary shot over a ten year period in NYC's East Village. The movie follows the vibrant, eccentric, dangerous and heartwarming characters of Alphabet City from 1992-2002. Get ready to dive into one of the most violent, drug infested neighborhoods only to see it transform to the trendy area it has become. Many of the old timers figured out how to survive the area when it was a ghetto - now the challenge for them is to see if they can survive gentrification.
