Abadeha suffers the constant taunts of her stepsisters, and the impossible demands of her stepmother. With the help of the magical Spirit of the Forest, Abadeha is able to accomplish the most challenging tasks imposed upon her by stepmother. In the end Abadeha triumphs against all odds and marries the Prince.
