Synopsis
New thinking about building homes with adobe blocks--once thought to be antiquated and expensive, suggests that adobes may be the building material of the future. Adobe blocks have no embodied energy, clay and sand are available worldwide, the blocks adapt to new technologies (plumbing and electrical) and they are completely biodegradable.
