Synopsis

A young couple are building a life together in their new home. Andrea and Anna, whilst joking and fighting, plan their future. ‘I have to tell you something...’. There are announcements that change everything and make bonds deeper, there are events however that destroy those bonds; like the loss of a child. A downward spiral that seems just a nightmare, even though, once awake, the protagonists find themselves alone and distant. Each one walking down their own path of reconstruction, Andrea and Anna will remain close, who knows for how long, within the empty space of Alice's room.

13 minutes and 49 seconds of existential despair that you will not get back.

A wrenching performance from Giulia Bevilacqua. Strong example of new Italian cinema.

This film is heartbreaking and beautiful! The actors and direction of the actors is flawless. This is what short films should aspire to be like.
