Synopsis

At the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, a first-time, exhibition event - the women's 800 and men's 1500 meter wheelchair races wowed the world.

"Choosing Victory" follows five of the athletes on their journey to make the Olympic team. Ultimately three of the five athletes competed in the Olympics and two won medals. Quite a journey, and the sound of 80,000 people cheering is truely awesome.
