Synopsis

Hussein Fulton’s life is on the rocks. After being dishonorably discharged from the military, his wife Raquel kicks him out of the house. And Hussein finds himself sleeping on the couch of a high school friend- and the friend’s roommate- that he has not seen in 5 years. Little does Hussein know that his new roommates both suffer from mental breakdowns due to an overindulgence of marijuana, and their paranoia causes them to treat their home like an insane asylum- complete with early bedtimes and a very strange nightly ritual.

After several failed attempts of starting over in the dating scene- he decides to accept that his life is destined for let downs. Until one night, at a hole in the wall nightclub he meets Keisha “Charisma” Johnson a talented writer, and the woman of his dreams. The only problem is that Hussein comes with baggage… two kids… a wife… and is haunted by his own feelings of inadequacy. Despite himself, Hussein is forced to overcome his shortcomings, so he won’t lose the one woman who truly loves him… whole… Every Scar and Dimple.

Every Scar and Dimple is more than a story of romance. It is about choices. And letting go. Healing wounds and being able to except your self… naked and exposed. To see your flaws… and to love them… Every Scar and Dimple.
