Synopsis

Polish emigre, Gosia, an awkward 7 year old girl who barely speaks English, is the new student at a Catholic school. With a vivid imagination, Gosia escapes into her fairy tale story "Baba Yaga and the Wood" when faced with turmoil. Gosia proves she has real gumption when she uses this imaginary world to find strength to stand up for herself when she is unjustly punished.
