Synopsis
The film poses several questions: Where are the parents? Why are they not available? How does the parents absence effect the children? It is an emotional journey that explores the issue from the available and absent parent's perspective. In addition it gives us a peek into the hearts and minds of the children. It will challenge all parents to check in to their children's lives and be active in helping their children fulfill their destiny.

Hi Jeff, it's Tenaya, I just finished watching the film about mothers and fathers you made. THANK YOU! I really could connect with all the people in the film. As I watched it I felt the struggle or should I say the lack of love each person had experienced. Agian I can relate. You kept it real. Using REAL people, Real situations and didn't sugar coat it was the attribute I appreciatd the most.So many times people come up with these kind of projects and they come out to be I guess what some would call Sensationalized .They don't put out a product that captures the raw side of life... what is real.; not what is interesting.You took a very real situation , in real time and it is BEAUTIFUL!. In your film the content represented a life I have lead.I was that foster child who was left behind from a drug addicted mother. I was that single mom working to raise three boys, and I am that parent who had to leave the streets behind and keep it moving.....for my children! Realizing that I wanted better for my children gave me that push to do better, and here I am. As a mother, not only a mother but a mother recovering from being a single mother ,I try to instill understanding in my young men that life is what you make it. It can indeed be hard and a constant struggle, but if you put your best foot forward the best WILL come. I want to show the film to my young men so they can see MR.NEX and his delima with the baby momma drama & child support , and I want my little brother to see the dad who stepped up for the sake of his children, and I want the world to see the gentleman who spoke of stopping those chiildren on the streets with their pants hanging down and talking to them.Your film inspired me as an educational professional and as a mother.I wish you many blessings on all of your projects!
