Synopsis

Let Us Go and Burn Her Body; Or, the Devil Done Let Out, is a psychological horror hybrid-documentary feature film. In the gothic literary tradition, the narrative follows a female protagonist through her work as a paranormal investigator, whose ultimate goal is indisputable proof of the spirit world. When a dark man begins pursuing her with a claim he is the devil in human form, her sanity begins to slip, and her fractured marriage falls apart, forcing her into a fantasy existence as a means of coping. But like all things ethereal, one cannot determine the real from the vividly imagined. Has Rebecca gone slowly insane from her sexual repression, or are there other forces at play?
