Four down-on-their luck guys in a small town form a screenwriting workshop at their local diner. They meet religiously every week to support each other in their quest to write a great screenplay. Or a good screenplay. Or a not-so-bad one. Nursing a wicked hang-over on New Year's Day, the four friends realize they've become failure enablers and decide to take a final shot to change their luck. As Kirby struggles with rejection, custody problems with his ex and writers block, his fellow scribes pitch his script to a sleazy bottom-feeder producer. In short order, the Z-list producer and his entourage, Vera and Ditto, wreak havoc on the four writers. Soon the four friends become prisoners of their bitter competition. They lock themselves in the diner until a surprising show-down with the producer and his entourage ensues the following morning. LoSERS LoUNGE is a comedy that champions the underdog, celebrates the spirit of creativity, camaraderie and dialogue-driven rants.
