Synopsis

Lucas, an older gentleman on a journey through the Mid-West, convinces a small town waitress to help him reach his mysterious destination. In return, she finds herself absorbed in stories of his youth... from a childhood in atomic-era America, to the difficult years of the Vietnam War. Tales of life, love, sex and confusion bring Lucas to an unexpected location, reaching far back into his past only to deliver him to a lost future.
