Synopsis

"The Crew" unravels the mystery and explores the various technical positions that form a film production unit. "The Crew", covering 18 different departments from Grips to Costumes, Lighting to Make-up, vividly presents the jobs and lives of film production workers.

The Costume Department is in charge of outfitting all performers and extras (background performers) seen on camera.

Positions discussed in this episode:

Costume Designer: Designs, creates, acquires and supervises the construction and fitting of all costumes and wardrobe. Works in consultation with the production designer and the director.

Assistant Costume Designer: Assists the costume designer as required. Is often responsible for the sourcing, purchasing and renting of wardrobe elements.

Set Costumer: On-set person responsible for all wardrobe requirements on set. Ensures continuity for matching action and does wardrobe repairs as needed
