Positions discussed in this episode:
Locations Manager (LM): The head of the department responsible for scouting locations, for securing permits and for making sure that each location is ready for the film crew before filming and is left in a decent state after filming.
Assistant Location Manager (ALM): The assistant to the LM who functions primarily on-set as the liaison between the production company and the community, neighborhood or location owner. ALMs delegate duties to police officers and PA's.
Locations Production Assistant: The entry-level position in the locations department, providing general assistance on-set, including crowd control, security, clean up and public relations.
