Synopsis

Erik Von Stroheim plays arrogant vaudeville gun trick-shot artist the Great Flamarion, who tours the country with his assistant Connie (Hughes) and Al (Duryea), who are married. Connie feigns extreme attraction to Flamarion, and tricks him into "accidentally" murdering her husband during Flamarion's show. However, after the fact the trecherous woman rejects Flamarion and runs off with another man. Von Stroheim's performance is exquisite and flamboyant.
