Synopsis

Twitch is a coming of age story about a teenage girl forced to care for her disabled mother, while beginning to come to terms with her emerging sexuality. Irrationally fearful that her mother's disability is contagious, she attempts to suffocate any possibility of illness. Her boyfriend, oblivious to her increasing hypochondria, only seems interested in her physically. Unable to find the emotional intimacy she craves, she ultimately must confront her fears and learn to take care of herself.

I remember this director from that IFC NYU film school show while they were making this "film". Never saw the whole thing, but certainly did not need to see whatever this is. It's amazing all the resources from NYU she had available and what seemed like a nice, good producer but she is an egomaniac who would delay the filming so she could take time to herself. I thought maybe the final product would show that passion, but really it's just dumb.

The lead actress in this film is quite good. Everything else id sub-par. Pacing is terrible; it feels like it's three hours long. The story lacks focus and momentum. Very boring.
