IndieFlix is supported on Roku, FireTV, Chromecast, AndroidTV, AppleTV, and iOS + Android devices.
There are a number of ways to watch IndieFlix on your Smart TV.
The apps in the Apple App Store are for iOS (iPhone and iPad) and Apple TV. Other options to watch on the TV are with a Roku, FireTV, Android TV, or Chromecast device. Or in some cases some smart TVs have built-in Casting and/or Airplay which you can control with the Android and iOS apps. If you have any of these devices you just need to search the app stores on these platforms to find the "IndieFlix" app and login to your account to begin watching.
How to download the apps:
Chromecast:
If you have a Google Chromecast device connected to your TV, or have casting capability built into your Smart TV, open the IndieFlix app on your Android or iOS mobile device. Once you’ve selected something to watch, press the Cast Icon within the app (see reference image below) and select your Cast device to begin streaming on your TV. (Note: You will have to start playing content before you can Cast to your TV.)
If you do not see the Cast icon, make sure your phone or tablet is connected to the same WiFi network that you selected while setting up your Chromecast or SmartTV.
If you begin streaming but do not see the selected content on your TV, make sure your TV is tuned to the HDMI input that your target device is plugged into, or that your smart TV has been updated to the latest firmware available.
